Apple new Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger comes on an install DVD by default. If you only have a CD drive you can still install Tiger. Apple has a Media Exchange Program for users who purchased a Mac OS X v10.4 Retail (M9639) or Family Pack (M9640) and need Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” on CD.
