  1. I can wait. Glad it’s finally out. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”smile” style=”border:0;” /> In the meantime, my Windows PC and my Macs work just the same as they did yesterday and the day before that.

The thing I excited about… I hope Apple is going to update their PM line to go along with the Tiger release. Been waiting on that purchase for a while now.

  4. Won’t be buying Tiger. Nope. Not gonna do it.

I will however buy a new Mac that has Tiger pre-loaded. Especially if Apple releases a Powerbook 17HD at NAB.

MDN Magic word: “open” which is what my wallet will do when Apple releases a Powerbook 17HD

  5. Neil.. it’s software…

Thurrott and his cronies love to crow about how Apple always has supply problems.. when MS never does.. when it comes to software, you hear about Development Delays, Features being cut, semi-releases… this kind of thing..

Software is never backlogged.. unless MAYBE you’re talking about something like GTA:San Andreas selling out in the first week

  6. Just ordered mine from Amazon.com.

    Original Price: 129.00

    Mail In Rebate: – 35.00

Opening up an Amazon.com Visa card and purchasing with it for the first time: – $30.00

    Shipping and Handeling: FREE

    Tax: NONE

    EXACT TOTAL: $65

I highly recommend this way! Half off for brand new Tiger. Gotta love it!

  7. It’s about time. They have trashed Panther so badly with the latest updates that I will take Tiger even if it’s no better than OS6. Ya think they know something we don’t, like Tiger isn’t all that they made it out to be? That would explain the degradation of 10.3. Cushioning the blow? Disaster to Mediocre.
