Think Different

Here’s to the crazy ones.

The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things differently.

They’re not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change things.

They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.

They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.

How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.

While some see them as the crazy ones, We see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

  1. Hmmm…interesting…good take.

Anyways, I’d like to direct everyone’s attention to our favorite punching bag of the week http://www.kantor.com/ Where for the last few days I have been beating Andy down something terrible ( i got beat this bad when I was a kid ) over his postings about Mac. Anyway, the funny thing is, if you notice on the right side of his web page, he no longer has the TALK BACK TO ME feature I had been using to …well… talk back to him. Nicely, politely, but with logic he just couldnt deny. So like a pouting child he took it down and replaced it with ads! He even mentions me in his first article.

    Have a nice day!

  2. ‘Twas me, Bishop, I think. When I commented that his balding head, rolls of fat spilling over his collar and shit-eating grin couldn’t conceal his ignorance and told “carbo-boy” to try Mac OS X for a month and then we’d talk – he pulled his “talk back” feature within a couple hours. Note the initials of my name. ” width=”19″ height=”19″ alt=”wink” style=”border:0;” />

  3. According to…

    …the OS X + iLife $50 Rebate Promo ends January 10, 2005.

    According to…

…Steve Jobs will give his keynote presentation on January 11, 2005.

Will we see Tiger be released during his keynote on Jan 11th at 9am (PST)?!!

[With an increased bandwidth, it looks like MDN’s fancy new LINUX server will let him add (pointless) movies. Although the overall download speeds of the webpages seem to have slowed due to this.]

  4. I spanked Andrew and got him contradicting himself too.

It is pretty obvious that he has been baiting the the Mac Community with purposefully inflammatory remarks in recent columns. When I called him on this he tried to play innocent and say he didn’t know that he would get a strong reaction. And all this is after he recently published an article titled “Mac User froth, while Linux Users Befriend” in October! It was like shooting fish in a barrel.

  5. Hell ya! I’m trying to remember the first
    time I thought differently. It’s a tough
call and I’m not that good, so I’ll just
    let it go.

A concept that can make significant changes
has to challenge our thought process. Through
    a marketing campaign…concepts live. Apple’s
longevity rests on it’s will to succeed in
    the marketplace.

    Nobody’s laughing at Apple.

By now I don’t think too
    much about form, nor function…
    only fun.

I don’t feel that movies have
the same impact that they used to.

    Am I wrong, Pixar?

    P.S.

We thought we could save it, we could have slaved it, instead
we just worked with it…in our own particular unique true caring
    and TRUSTED manner.

My Macintosh is in the house…did you know THAT!

  7. For all of those who can’t play the movie, update your quicktime first, then see if it still wont play.

Now, why does apple not make the adds like that anymore!? I know the dancing shadows are cool…. but come on…. apple should commercials make you stop, think, -realize.

Everyone remembers 1984 right? And this one, too.

I say they should seize this moment in the spotlight that they’ve won (with the iPod and new iMac) and really send themselves flying with a new add done in the old way.
