In his article, “Keeping The Faith In Steve Jobs,” Arik Hesseldahl writes about Job’s stellar performance in Forbes’ monthly CEO Approval poll. Jobs has garnered the top spot of all CEOs twice in four months, in March and May. Mildly interesting, although you know how well Mac users can stuff the ballot box.

What’s more interesting is that Hesseldahl gets the numbers right, in a major publication, no less:

“Naysayers have been calling for Apple’s demise for years. But Apple not only has survived but thrived, it seems, at least partially by the sheer force of Jobs’ will and his ability to maintain the ferocious loyalty of Apple’s users, who still account for 10% of the world’s computer users, while its sales usually account for about 3% to 5% of the world global PC market.”

It’s nice to see the real numbers reported correctly for a change. The full article is here.
